Explore miles and miles of scenic Rocky Mountain trails for day trips to overnight camping. Don’t forget about safety when going to explore. Bring lots of water, sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses, clothing layers, and a trail map.  It is important to be prepared to enjoy Mother Nature’s beauty. You can do a variety of fishing in and along the Colorado River and Fraser River, or go lake fishing or bait fishing at the close by lakes including Granby Lake, Shadow Mountain Lake, or Grand Lake close to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Fly fishing in Winter Park offers float fish or wade fishing. Local guides and fly shops can help make recommendations about flies, water conditions, and what locations are fishing well throughout  the season.
